WHO WE ARE |
Brandon has lived in Scott Valley since 1984. He is a graduate of Etna High School, and upon completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business has continued as a first-generation farmer to operate a hay farm and agricultural services business in Siskiyou County. Brandon has always been a believer in being diversified and this new adventure allows such an opportunity.
Jaclyn moved here from the Bay Area in the spring of 2009. It was a big change from city life, but she quickly grew to love living in the country. While walking into Etna or taking Nolan to school, she always noticed the “nice, cute, little” motel off to the side of her path and thought that might be fun to run. As if being Mom to Nolan and Weston wasn’t enough, Jaclyn decided she too wished for the chance to be part of the wonderful business community in Scott Valley. |
OUR STORY |
One day while Brandon and Jaclyn were talking with Rich Cloutman of United Country Real Estate, they asked about the motel in Etna and when it might be for sale. Little did they know, it had been put on the market only 30 minutes prior to their question! The next 90 days would be the beginning of a very exciting opportunity for the Fawaz family.
While The Etna Motel currently has a great reputation for being a nice and clean place to stay, the new owners are very committed to not only maintaining that reputation, but bringing the motel into modern times. If you haven’t already, please “like” The Etna Motel’s Facebook page. Stay tuned and watch for subtle improvements to come along throughout the future. |
OPEN |
The Etna Motel is open 365 days per year and will do their best to accommodate as many special needs of their guests as possible. This may range from accepting packages for their guests, to late night check-ins when needed, to a large enough parking lot for a pickup and trailer to turn around. Brandon and Jaclyn have a couple living on-site for daily assistance along with themselves living only a city lot away, ensuring they will always be there for their guests.
Reservations can be made by calling 530-467-5338. Brandon and Jaclyn are looking forward to serving your lodging needs with a quaint town feel. Thank you! |
